We have been delighted with the numbers and varieties of birds at Beechwood, especially the Siskin, which we have had in amazing numbers - sometimes over 20 at one time on the feeders and on the ground underneath. Blue tits, great tits, coal tits and nuthatches, green finch, gold finch and wagtails all visit regularly and this year we had bramblings for the first time and then one redpoll.

We have noticed that there are 4 groups for the RSPB in Devon and none of them appear to include Dartmoor - maybe there is something we can do about that, we'll see.
