How to get to Beechwood B&B |
| Beechwood is located right on the B3212 in Postbridge, Dartmoor. Our drive is directly off the main road and we have signs on the road that are easy to see. GPS and SatNav systems have got better over the past 12 months but be careful, sometimes they send you up a lane when you don't need to go there! |
Coming from Moretonhampstead
Beechwood is 8 miles from Moretonhampstead. Simply follow the B3212, you will go past The Warren House Inn at the top of the hill 2 miles before Postbridge then descend into the village down Merripit Hill. At the bottom is a cattle grid, we are the 3rd house on the left. |
Coming from Two Bridges
Following the B3212 out of Two Bridges, after about 3 miles, you will start to descend into the village with Bellever Tor and the forestry plantation on your right. See the "Flare" station sign at the Post Office and Stores on the left and go over the bridge (note the famous Clapper Bridge on the right). Pass the East Dart Hotel on the right and continue up the hill. Past the village hall and then the church on the right,a Beechwood is on the right also and should be recognisable from our main photograph.
