A combination of buffet and traditional
The dining room laid for breakfast and buffet, although we also use the sun room.

A combination of buffet and traditional English cooked in the Aga and served to set you up for the day. We ask our guests to choose a time for breakfast, normally between 8:00am and 9:00am but we have been known to do earlier - and later!

Whenever possible we give our guests individual tables in the main dining room or in the sun room but it is not always possible or practical and we may ask people to take breakfast "en famile" on one big table.

And the eggs are from our own hens!

The eggs we get from our free ranging chickens truly are wonderful! They make perfect fried eggs, stay together beautifully when poached and are a deep yellow when scrambled.

(We have a wide choice of organic, fairtrade, herbal teas and infusions)

Brown or White Toast
with homemade marmalade and preserves

An Aga cooked breakfast
West country bacon, local sausage, hash brown and tomato
or
Mushrooms, beans, hash brown and tomato
with
Fried, scrambled, poached or boiled free range egg
