Beechwood...
Dartmoor bed and breakfast
Viewed from the front garden - Beechwood, originally two cottages, was made into one house in 1972 and had an extension added in 1996.
In the village of Postbridge, Beechwood bed and breakfast on Dartmoor is right in the heart of the National Park. It is our home and whilst you are with us it will be yours too, for a few days anyway. This wonderful location really is ideal for exploring Dartmoor on foot, by bicycle, on horseback or by car. On arrival we offer a complimentary tea or coffee with homemade biscuits in our snug residents lounge, the sun room or in the garden whilst you plan and discuss things to do during your stay.
See what we mean about being in the middle of Dartmoor!

Just float your mouse pointer over the map of Dartmoor above and look for the red dot - that's where we are!!

We hope you will find our web site of use and of interest and that you will decide to stay with us.

"What a great find! Beautiful surroundings and caring people. Thank you for everything; we hope to return and will tell all our friends (or maybe we'll keep it to ourselves)." - B & G, London

Comfortable & Relaxing
When we first walked into Beechwood in December 2005 it was the feeling of warmth, of welcome, that struck us immediately; a great big, friendly hug if you like! This is what we want all our guests to feel when they come to visit, the first time, every time and all the time.
